兼任中华医学会心血管病学分会委员暨肺血管病学组组长、中国医师协会心血管内科医师分会常委暨心血管急重症学组副组长、北京医学会心血管病学分会副主任委员、北京心脏学会副会长、长城心脏病学大会（GW-ICC）执行主席、冠心病学科交叉暨介入治疗大会（CMIT）执行主席、首都医科大学心脏病学系副主任、心血管共病临床与研究中心主任等职
主要从事冠心病临床与研究工作，作为项目负责人先后承担国家重点研发计划2项、国家自然科学基金面上项目4项、北京市重点项目6项以及其他多项省部局级课题。在国内外发表论文500余篇，其中SCI论文150余篇。2019年作为第一完成人获北京市科学技术进步奖一等奖
